Rob is a hydrometrist with over 16 years experience, and currently heads up Hydro-Logic Services Hydrometric Services team. He started work as a MCERTS survey assistant, and went on to lead survey teams and has since managed a number of large scale compliance projects for major water companies. Through these projects, he has delivered significant savings principally through reduced civils costs by innovative use of new technology. The discharge consent compliance team at Hydro-Logic, has undertaken inspections and design work for nearly every major water company, and over 100 industrial and landfill customers.
Discharge Consent Compliance (MCERTS) – The Challenges and Opportunities
Hydro-Logic Services have undertaken thousands of Monitoring CERTification Scheme (MCERTS) inspections for water company, industrial and landfill customers throughout the UK. The seminar will describe the requirements of the Environment Agency MCERTS and the challenges faced by consent holders, together with the opportunities that compliance presents. It will also discuss the benefits of accurate flow measurement data and real-time data acquisition using Smart Monitoring technology.
