UK Asbestos Training Association Ltd
As a Chartered Chemist, Chartered Quality Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, Chris Bishop has worked with UKATA since it’s inception. Originally trained as an analytical chemist, he has worked in a variety of industry sectors where it is more important than anything else, to get the right answers.
For over eighteen years, he has been working within the asbestos industry. Nearly a decade ago, Chris started his own asbestos consulting and training company – AT&C (Asbestos Training and Consultancy) Ltd which offers asbestos awareness, non-licensable and licensable asbestos training and site support, along with Duty to Manage and Asbestos Surveyor training courses. The company also works with clients in managing asbestos and provides consultancy support for remediation projects, including several with asbestos contaminated land.
So what is the fuss about Asbestos? After all it is a thing of the past…
The session will look at the types of asbestos training available and the minimum requirements for legal compliance.
Chris will review the different training courses appropriate to various roles and who requires such training.
